Wednesday was a big day for the Seattle Seahawks, as the team landed free agents Tavaris Jackson and Sidney Rice. Proving that the team is definitely headed in a new direction and that the Pete Carroll era is in full effect. Sidney Rice was a much coveted free agent, teams from around the league had been showing interest in him for a long time. Rice is a big bodied receiver, at 6’ 4” and 202 lbs with incredible hands and outstanding leaping ability. Rice is sure to bolster the Seahawks receiving core and he will be able to make an immediate impact on the team.
