Too many young children are obese or overweight and not getting enough exercise. According to www.pbs.org, the number of overweight preschoolers has doubled over the course of the last ten years. This statistic is not surprising when you consider there are over 2 million obese children in the United States alone. Incredibly, twenty-nine percent of children in Washington are considered obese or overweight. (For more information click HERE.)
